I'm originally from Westchester County, NY, a few miles north of New York City. After obtaining my associates degree from Westchester Community College in 1985, I resided in Brooklyn and Manhattan while working in graphic design. During the 1990’s, I exhibited hand-painted, original black and white photography from my travels across the USA and abroad, and at group shows in Manhattan. I left Greenpoint, Brooklyn in 1998 and settled in Estill County, Kentucky, on a 27-acre farm. In 2009, I completed my bachelor’s degree from Eastern Kentucky University in Studio Art with concentrations in ceramics and metalsmithing. I have exhibited my sculptures across the country. My work is in small collections nationally and internationally. In 2009, I launched Tea Horse Studio, a venue for my functional pottery and jewelry, selling my work online and in local central Kentucky galleries. I reside on my farm with my husband and my dogs, cats and horses.
